This tour is a delight for birders and curious visitors wanting to see more then the beaches. Parrotville is more than a simple bird watching habitat, it is an experience, a close and voluntary interaction with the birds and nature. They playfully fly to your hand to eat from the cup of seeds you’re holding, land on your shoulder or head and if your offer your finger as a toy, well those beaks can be sharp! This is a pleasant afternoon for those looking to escape the shopping and bars of Philipsburg.

Staff will disseminate a wealth of information on the species of birds at the park, learn of their behavior. Discover different species: Sun Conure, Ring Neck Parakeet, Brown Throated Conure, Black Headed Caique and many more. Enjoy a variety of plants, herbs & vegetation in the botanical garden where the parrots live. Feed the birds yourself, a truly up-close encounter, bird food for feeding your feathered friends is included.
Also explore our mini artifact museum and learn of the historical uses.
Re-board the vehicle for a refreshing & delicious ice cream stop, and sample finest imported Dutch cheese while at it, purchase if desired along with wines liquors & other Dutch delicacies.
Return to port with the bus or shop in the town at your leisure.
