At Twin island Excursions we make it as Easy as 1 2 3! 1. We Pick you up at the Cruise Port, Airport, Resort or at the agreed upon location. 2. We all hop into our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and head out to our destinations, where your friendly guide will inform and entertain you during the tour or transfer with tales of the Islands unique History & Culture. 3. We Drop you back off to the Cruise Port, Airport, Resort or at the agreed upon location. About this Excursion: Set out on an unforgettable journey with our guided kayak and snorkeling adventure departing from Simpson Bay Beach. An easy kayak tour that includes a total of approximately 40 minutes of kayaking split up by 45 minutes of snorkeling. Level: Easy Times: 9:00am or 11:30am Duration: 2 1/2 Hours Perfect for beginners or those seeking a relaxed pace. Quick lesson on safety and paddling technique provided at the start of the tour. Group paddles out through Simpson Bay, passing boats moored in the bay. Weather permitting, venture into the ocean and around Pelican Rocks to reach the next bay. Leisurely pace allows for enjoying views of neighboring islands and observing birds resting on rocks. Upon reaching the destination, beach the kayaks and prepare for snorkeling. Guides assist with trying out snorkeling equipment and lead the group to explore rocky caverns and corals. Opportunity to observe various marine creatures including parrot fish, angelfish, trumpet fish, needle nose, and tang. Guides accompany snorkelers, pointing out fish and providing assistance as needed. After approximately 45 minutes of underwater exploration, return to kayaks for the paddle back to Simpson Bay Beach. Conclude the tour with an ice-cold refreshment at the Greenhouse Restaurant and a discussion on the wildlife encountered during the tour. Note: Sit-on-top double kayaks are used for tours, with a limited number of single kayaks available for guides and odd-numbered groups.
