Kayaking through Simpson Bay Lagoon, get up close to Mega Yachts and Catamarans
Begin the tour with a paddling demonstration at a designated beach in Colebay. The guides will then lead you through the lagoon and along side the incredible mega yachts docked at the various marinas which dot the coast line of the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Explore the mangroves and search out the Upside Down Jellyfish or the strange Sea Cucumbers which thrive in these shallow waters. Keep your eyes open for the rarely seen Grey and Blue Herons which nest in these quiet havens. Continue along the coast close to the invisible border which signifies a peaceful separation of the Dutch and French parts of St. Maarten since the 1600’s. Paddle under the Bridge into the quiet bay for a refreshing well deserved swim in beautiful Simpson Bay.
