Great Bay Beach also know as the Boardwalk in Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side of St Maarten has its own beach, and just minutes away from your ship. So why not grab a transfer to the beach and sip cocktails and beer at our favourite Beach Bar/BBQ place. Take a dip in our turquoise waters, stick your toes in the sand and just relax in your beach lounger before heading out for shopping and more fun.

If an action packed visit is what you are looking for, there is plenty to do on the beach. Rent a Wave Runner and explore Great Bay on your own from the water. Build a sand castle, jump in on a game of beach volleyball. There are plenty of places to treat yourself to an ice cream or finger licking BBQ, near Walter Plantz Square or down the boardwalk.
